G.A.R.Y.® or Ground Advance Recon Yield, is a military robot manufactured by the Italian robot company, Luna International. Like a lot of us, he’s a simmering broth of ideas. He’s conservative enough to be able to control an M134 Minigun to neutralize a rebellion, but will also show up at your party dressed in Ziggy Stardust colors with a yellow balloon to help you celebrate. How the magic of flamboyant performance can appear alongside a Republican Mech, can only be attached to his idiosyncratic American engineer and programmer, Gary Flume. To further demonstrate his somehow fitting, flip-flopping ideologies, Flume was no patriot, selling his plans for the robot to the highest bidder, Italian manufacturer, Luna International, but not mentioned was the mech’s embedded quirky social-emotional programming that makes Gary quite the eccentric robot indeed. Because of its sense of humor, European prestige, color awareness, and protective ability, women love to see this model robot parked out front. In these strange political times, a playful warrior like G.A.R.Y.® comes welcome. His moonwalk dance program is worth the down payment alone.
